"The portcullis is down, the drawbridge up. Gilles de Rais, alias Bluebeard, has returned to his castle. Soon, blood will stain the moss of Tiffauges Wood! Originally, the name of this chypre fragrance included the country of provenance, whose inhabitants used to scent their homes by hanging small "sachets" of cistus leaves and oak moss from wooden rafters."

Oak moss, resins, labdamum cistus

The primary essence of a Serge Lutens perfume does not reside in the assembly of a list of ingredients, but in an experience, a sensitivity. Doubts, anger, fragility, joy (also)... each of them represents a moment of ourselves. Discordering, torturing raw materials to make them confess, Serge Lutens has not made a profession of it but an art!

To change the bottle inside the atomizer, push it out from below using the funnel. To fill, pour the same perfume into the refill using the funnel, raising it slightly so it flows more easily. To avoid altering the fragrance, do not use the same refill for different perfumes."
